I like less scary River, but I miss the rest of the crew! It's a little like comparing the U.S. trailer to the International trailer.

You're right that she doesn't look as scary. However, IMO she looks a bit too sexy. I understand that Summer is one of the most beautiful women in the world, but I don't think 17 year old unhinged River should look that sexy.

Nathan on the other hand . . .he can look as sexy as he wants. *rowr*

Not so sure which is scarier the earlier look from a disturbed River or the fact that it is now very obvious that this very calm, cool collected River is holding a gun and all she's gotta do is "the math"

I like it, but I miss spooky River, as she was more intriguing. River's a little too 'Hollywood glam' for me - it makes here look older than the character is supposed to be.

Keep in mind this one will be updated ... if you look at River's hand with the gun, you'll see an extra "shadow" there. On the Serenity Board there is a note that this will be fixed ...

Niiice! This one is definitely better than the first one. (the first was like a beta version or something, they said)

It's cleaner and sharper, but...what the hell is wrong with River's hands? Did they try to show she's cocking the gun or...? (Also, notice the little smoke coming out of the gun...great!)

I think I like the picture of Summer better on this one, even though she doesn't look 100% like River IMHO. however, I too miss the rest of the crew from the "beta" poster.

The one drawback: It looks like Mal and River are an item (at least this is what I, a 17 year old girl seeing this poster w/o knowledge of Firefly, would assume). Other than that I want one.

omg, just found the original one sheet on another site (quite by accident). i always felt this one sheet was HORRIBLE. especially for folks who didn't know anything about the show. it's nebulous and doesn't evoke any particular interest or feeling.

but WOW, the (i guess 'beta') one sheet showed up on that other page and i was blown away. they DEFINITELY should have gone with that. even if i didn't know anything about the show i would have thought to myself "whoa, what's that's all about?"
