Last night, while waiting for 'The Inside' to come on, I was amusing myself by watching Ep IV on my 'puter and I couldn't help but ponder the similiarties between certain characters in The Holy Trilogy and our BDH's. This resulted in the following series of images. (I think a few of these have been pointed out before, but I still had fun putting together the screencaps!)

Love all of these, though I woulda' gone with R2 as Wash (the snide, funny fly-bot). Lando's more like a cooler, more badass Badger (scoundrel, rogue, survivor of more get-obscenely-rich-quick/lose-the-shirt-off-his-back scenarios than anyone has a right to be).

I would agree with you about R2/Wash if it weren't for two items:
1. I find the new triology a complete travesty (flying R2 and all), so I refused to take into consideration anything that happens in them. Although, now that you mention it, R2D2 really WAS the most sarcastic of the Star Wars characters...gotta give credit to something that can sound snarky by only using whistles and beeps!
2. Choosing Lando allowed me to make screencaps of a moustached Wash and to relive his introduction to Serenity...which is something that I never tire of watching

I agree, Oxy. In the new SW movies, R2D2 definitely has all the best lines. Cool screencaps, BTW.
