Simon wants it all.

He tries not to, but he can’t help it.

He gave up everything he had before, and didn’t look back. All the same it left a void that needs filling.

He wants every bit of Kaylee.

Every drop of joy in her smile, all the mirth in her laugh, the passion in her eyes. Being with her makes him feel full.

But he knows that it cannot last because if she keeps pouring all of herself into him, eventually, she’ll be empty too.

He knows that he is so draining, with his snits, and his obsession, and the Bad Days that she can’t hide from like everyone else does anymore, because it’s all a part of him and if she’s with him she has to take it all.

He should stop her. He should save her. But he already has a girl to save, and, no matter how hard he tries, he can’t be strong enough for both.

He resigns himself to it, and she won’t listen to reason.

Simon takes it all, and Kaylee lets him.
