Actually, I considered doing a River thing,(yes, that's me in the picture and I know what my bf has done) but I just can't see myself being comfortable in public wearing an oversized dress and combat boots...besides...I just added a heart and a teddy bear to the Kaylee thing...here's hoping nobody gets persnickety and shoots me...

Oh, you have no idea. She's beautiful, intelligent (scholarship recepient in college), artistic (has been playing with a major Symphony Orchestra since she was 17), into sci-fi and fantasy in general...

She found it at a store called "Rainbow", which specializes in women's clothing. It doesn't seem like a larg chain but it has a website : http://www.rainbowshops.com =) ((Note from the gf: the jumpsuit started out with sleeves which I had to take off and hem in so it wouldn't look all ratty.))

As a side note: About the store I got the jumpsuit/overalls/whatever-you-call-thems at, I found them on clearance, so if there *is* a store nearby there's no guarantee they have that thing...there were only two left when I got there...but then they did have different colors and if you wanted to make the effort I guess you could dye one with that machine-wash dye stuff...oh, and it only cost $7 where I got it...=) Hope that's helpful...

If you read some of the comments, someone beat you to the River thing, and....no. I did a lot of work on the Kaylee thing even after the pic so sorry, folks, that's gonna be someone else's job.

I think she looks just fabulous as Kaylee! That outfit is the best one I've seen yet and I've seen many different pictures of other ladies dressed as Kaylee and this outfit fits and looks the nicest. The hair is totally like Kaylee's, although I do see a resemblence to River's face as well. I've dressed like Leia once for Halloweena and I don't exactly look like her twin so who cares? Have fun!

Thank you for saying where she got it from! I went there today and picked me up a jumpsuit. 7 dollars is a great bargin. I had been looking everywhere for a Kaylee type outfit with no luck.
