Prologue
He sat in a small cube shaped room, the room had no windows and only a single heavy steel door interrupted the cold grey angular walls. He sat at a steel desk, its surface clinically sterile except for a small orderly pile of grey-green folders each of which bared a name in black bold letters. His eyes dissected the words in the folder before him, blue latex gloves moving only occasionally to turn a page.
The door opened silently and a second suited figure, bearing the same blue gloves, entered the room. “We may have overlooked something” said the first man without looking up from the file. His eyes having finally extracted every last detail, looked up and locked on to his partner “We may have a latent kinetic”, at the statement his partners left eyebrow arched slowly, the only sign of his surprise visible on his otherwise immobile face. “This one becomes our highest priority” he finished slowly taping the now closed file. The Doc locked up startled, his face slightly paled, Kaylee just st

This looks really interesting. I especially like the way you eased into the prologue. But one small suggestion, it was kind of hard to read (that's cause I'm in my mid twenties and already blind); you may want to think about spacing out the dialogue a bit more as opposed to having in all in one continuous paragraph.
Pretty shexney start... but if you don't keep it up, I'll cry... A LOT (so no pressure now! :P)
well it does...
You can't take the sky from me
When is this story supposed to take place? I assume before the Movie and after Objects in Space?
I'd love to read more.
You might want to think of paragraph breaks, though. It was a bit hard to read.
