My buddy Sam. Lost him to cancer this weekend.

He used to weigh 21 pounds, solid muscle. I'd walk into my bedroom and find him doing chin-ups on the clothing rack...
At the end, I think he was about 7 pounds, give or take a bit.

Sam is now doing chinups at Bastet's temple in the Summerland. He was very cute, and I'm sorry you lost him (I lost Queen Cachita I a year and a half ago, and I still feel it - she was one feisty feline as well!)

He looks like a great cat -- I am so sorry for the loss of your fine friend. It can be one of the hardest things ever, but Sam will always know that you love him.
After we lost our dear Feather last year my husband gently prodded me to look at some cats at the Humane Society several months later. We found Bella Luna, adopted her, and the moment she got home she jumped up on our altar, nuzzled Feather's picture and sat down next to Bast's statue. Shiny.

Losing a buddy is one of the worst things life can throw at you, and you have my sympathies.
I make peace with the fact that I will someday see my feline and canine friends again, in a brighter place.

I'm so sorry. I have a little tear in my eye. He was beautiful. Can't help thinking about if my Maggie weren't here...can't even...again, I'm sorry for your loss.
