I second the motion for commas. Punctuation exists so that the brain can make sense of the written word. Disuse of proper punctuation doesn't give your writing that "stream-of-consciousness" edge, nor does it make you look laid back or avant. It just confuses everyone else and makes it more difficult to figure out what you're trying to say.
