Blue Sun Room FICTION - HORROR
Firefly is the property of Joss Whedon, blah blah blah. You know the drill.
Thanks to Guildsister and Apollo for beta reading. Feedback will of course be appreciated.
Sorry this took so long. It was nearly Christmas by the time I was able to send it to my betas. Also ended up having to rewrite certain sections.
Note: This fic will be making the assumption that Mal and Zoe were acquainted with each other previous to the War.

Not sure how this is all going to play out with Mal's ma having Reaver connections and the Captain appearing to come under influences not altogether healthy. Miss Jayne and the others too. Ali D :~)

Sorry about not having Jayne, but as I stated at the end of the previous installment, it would have been too awkward to have more than four. I just can't see Inara stealthily creeping through Mansfield (I'm one of those who believe that Jayne joined after Inara).
I may be wrong, but I get the impression that you think this particular story has more installments in it. This is The End. However, I do intend to touch on Mal's family tree rot in future fics.

Creepy, creepy. I adore the way you have the characters *act* rather than just react to the situation--they take immediate, no hesitation preemptive action. Felt right. I miss Jayne, too, but it's interesting seeing them in action at this point, too.
Mal's family history, and his bits of latent reaver-ness (reaver-ness??) want more story.

Mal's a little too creepy for my taste. But I still enjoyed the story.
Although it does explain a lot about what mal knows of reavers.
