Firefly Verse Map

Monday, June 23, 2008

This is a Firefly Verse map I've created for my RPG(play-by-post forum rpg). I've used the five sun star system, as this would be a lot more interesting then for instance a system with only one sun. It's of course not meant to be on scale, nor about 'calculating' travel times. It's purely to give a feel of how our verse looks like and where planets/moons are located.

C&C is of course always welcome!

*woot first blue sun room submission XD.

Okay, well I have no clue how to edit that message above. Just wanted to add that I do not allow anybody else to use this without my permission, thanks ^^.

Very cool! You sure Beylix is a gas giant though? I'm remembering that one line in 'Trash' where Mal asks Monty about the time he 'got pinched on Beylix'.

Other than that - awesome bit o' work!

Nope I'm not sure Steamer, but I like gas giants. This is the only info I found on Beylix, and that made me figure it was probably a gas giant. And well almost nothing is sure what it is/where it's located in the verse XD.

"Beylix

A planet with a ring system similar to Saturn. (Serenity Official Visual Companion). "

But thanks for the comments ^^, really appreciated! Like to know what other firefly fans think about it.

I'm not sure why you have Miranda listed as uninhabitable. Serenity made it pretty clear that Miranda was a terraforming success and was/is fully life-friendly. Just because it is currently uninhabited doesn't make it uninhabitable, despite being beyond Reaver space. If that's your reasoning for labeling it such, please be clear.

You're welcome deemm, but this it for my RPG XD.

I've listed it as that as I see that maps would be made by the alliance. Seeing the alliance never brought out word of what happened at Miranda, I suppose the planet would be labeled unihabitable. In the RPG it's actually not unihabitable, but then again, you'd have a very hard time to actually get to the planet without being caught by Reavers. There's actually a description for most planets, this is just the map ^_^.
