I got really bored working on the lineart for the moment and decided to through on a few flat colors just to see... I think it's working out well.

I'm liking it, but I do have a couple noodges.

Putting windows, even armored glass, right next to the shuttle cradle strikes me as a bit dangerous. A botched shuttle recovery, for whatever reason, could result in explosive decompression if the glass gets scragged.

My other whine is the RCS (reaction control system) jet location on the neck. It seems to me they'd be more effective if placed further forward as the center of mass for the boat lies just aft of the wing leading edges. This is not a niggle of your design per se, but of Fireflys in general.

Well, sadly that's where the window sits based on the Interior. I'm sure it was taken into account by the designers and builders. ;)

And as for the RCS... That's not what those are... Not rightly sure just what they are. I was thinking waste heat venting, maybe RCS. But I hadn't decided yet. And this ship is about 40 feet shorter than a Firefly, so the Center of mass is actually probably going to be just Fore of the Gravity spinner(There's a lot of machinery and fuel in the bulb)

Ummm...Won't having the center of mass that far aft screw up the ability to hover on the wing engines? I used to build & fly model planes and the practice was to put the center of mass/center of gravity as close as possible to the center of lift, usually 1/3 of the way back on the wings.

Don't think I'm picking on ya cuz I ain't. Just want to see ya design a flyable ship.
