I don't believe in god, but I like writing stories that involve decision that are made because other believe.

Since the beginning of time, God ( the creator) and the Devil have been fighting for the world. The Devil wishes to destroy all that is in creation and god wishes for it to stay. The Devil has always been on one shoulder and God the other telling us what to do and squabbling as we make the decisions. Every war that ever was, is not fought for mortal land, but is fought over mortal souls and all in creation. After a battle lasting many ages, The Devil won, and he said to God ( who had been his Maker): «Lord, we are about to witness the unmaking of Creation by my hand. I would not wish you to think me cruel, so I beg you, take three things from this world before I destroy it. Three things, and then the rest will be wiped away.»

God thought for a little time. And at last he said: «No, there is nothing.» The Devil was surprised. «Not even you, lord?» he said. And God said: «No, not even me.»

Wow...now that's some brilliant stuff, MarchingBand! Short, but utterly powerful in the message it presents:D

you really think so BEB? I was kinda rooting for the devil, does that make me a bad person, or a one sided author?

It's your work, MB...so you can side with anybody you want;)

'Sides...it makes it all the better if you support the opposite side to what you preach. If Joss can dump on how Mal would make him (Joss) get all kinds of irked, I think you can right one thing and believe another;D
