I've been working on this picture for months,
cause I keep doing little bits.

Explanation. There was a mix of Muppets and Firefly a year back (I did a few) and got it in my head to do a Simpson's/Firefly crossover. Easier said than done. Who Mal and Inara were going to be was a given, but like the muppets there aren't many female characters to choose from. I toyed around with a few people (the pairings became weird.) I finally came up with this. The girl playing Zoe is Apu's wife because Marge's sister's, Mrs Krabaple and others didn't work. She did (especially in the outfit.) And of course Serenity's gotta be in there (the ship's not finished but I wanted to show you something)

As for that background, I tried to make it like the movie poster, but it turned into an ice planet. Ah well, that's the Simpson's for you.

By the way, when you read The Firefly make sure you say it the way they say The Simpson's in the beggining of each episode, makes more sense.

Nother note, Maggie/River's going to be holding those axes from the movie. Have to remember to put those in.

Can I say the thing that gave me the most trouble was that damn Hawaiian shirt, there aren't many clear pictures of Wash wearing it. Thanks all.

Oh my, this made me laugh so hard. It's so cute and beautiful. Maggie as River is totally cool, and of course Bart had to be Jayne! He gets to play with guns! This is so unbelievably shiny. Looking forward to seeing those weapons on Mag... erm... River's hands. :o)

This is bloody fantastic! Excellent job. The Firefly characters come through brilliantly. It takes no effort to figure out who is who. Also, nice composition of the characters.

I can't wait to see Maggie/River with those axes in hand :).
