Blue Sun Room FILK - FILK
Simple little girl
Who plays in the field
Who's skirts ride up
And losses her shoes
Smart as can be
Always learning
Reading
Fights with the boys
Those who fall in love with her
She wins the hearts of all
When she smiles
When she laughs
Never wanted much
But had her little secret
Never wanted to love the boys
But to see what else there is
Where those old trails could take her
And how far she could go
And if love found her
Then it would just be one more thing to hold

Ya know...while Rayne seems the obvious pairing for comparisons to "Beauty and the Beast"....this poem reminds me more of Kaylee, which actually really helps to make the previous poems about the Beast work as an analogy for Simon;)
