can you believe in what you are

and do what needs to be done

when you tell yourself the truth for once

and peel away your fake skin

stand naked infront of your reflection

to see the truth you ignored

live your life for who you are

and other cliches youve been told

will mean the world in the end

when you know the truth

show off your scars and bruises with pride

cry the tears in your eyes

walk out the door with your head held high

and leave that costume on the floor for good
