I use Photoshop for cleaning up the scanned art, and all of the coloring. I used some photos I took for the backdrop (which needs work, but I think it works in a pinch).

That is SUPERSHINY!! Wow. Ain't animation just the coolest? I'd have to agree that he's looking just a bit too cheerful and not quite mischiveous enough, but irregardless, the form, sight-line and pose are perfect and very Jayne-like. This is a fine piece of work.

Well, I did a little doodle of Mal, but it isn't really right. I started a sketch of River (the first one included Simon, but I have yet to find a really good way to work him into the second - and better - drawing), and have some really rough ideas for Book and Kaylee. I would like to do the whole cast! But, we'll see how it goes.
