When I was getting the artwork for my "Those Left Behind" character wallpapers, I grabbed a couple images I thought were cool. I'm not really a comic fan, but being a Browncoat, I really like these wallpapers. Artwork is the work of the original artist.

No it's serenity valley.
Badger calls sturges the bloodiest battle of the war, mal disagrees and we see this panel. it's his memory of SV and how he sees it as a worse battle. The woman with the shotgun facing the right is Zoe and the guy standing and shooting is Mal.

I do think that this is the Battle of Serenity Valley, seems Sturges was more a space battle, judging by the later happenings in the comic.

Uh...this is freaking sweet...but I don't recall this panel in the "Those Left Behind" comic series:(
