Someone’s quest for peace undying

Home to the lost and running

A metal playground to the cunning
I am
A dragon when I dream

More and less than I seem

A refuge and a sorrow

The hope and promise of tomorrow

a little teary.
I expected it to end "very unhappy" or something. Surprised me. Didn't notice the rhyme scheme at all until the last couplet set.
It's a good start.
