Blue Sun Room FILK - FILK
What do they see
When they see me
Do they think that smile
That face of innocence
That horrible mask
Is truly me
Do they only see the light
The brightness I wear about me
Or will they see what's underneath
The depression
The darkness
Fear and pain
The shadows that cloud my mind
That hurt those around me
The self I hate
And love at the same time

It seems to me that most folks only see what they want to. Some will see only the bright shiny front, some will see only the dark on the inside. I like to look at both, because that is what makes you, well, you.
