Man, I went like two weeks without watching Firefly and hearing that theme song was just "boom" So I came up with a conclusion " The Ballad of Serenity " is the greatest theme song in T.V history. 32 days until the Avengers comes out.

I was looking up Firefly trivia and a dude wrote an article saying "Remember in "out of gas" when Wash shows Mal the red button on the control panel and he says something like(sorry if he doesn't say it right)When you get your miracle, push this, and we'll come back to you. Well at the final cast party the cast and crew presented Joss with the button assembly and told him the same thing. And sure enough when he did they came." Dude, when I read that I almost started crying.

“……how’s about we don’t play?” Just updating my Blog here! Haken, love what you’ve done with the place! At first I was like WOW! This is really different!! But after coming to the site a few times it’s beginning to grow on me. Great job done by you sir! Ok, the line above is from one of the quotes made by Jayne. LOL, no, it’s actually a line from Malcolm Reynolds, but you know that. My point here being that Firefly has some of the most memorable dialogue ever written by the human mind! I love it, and I hear versions of FF dialogue spoken every day. Anyhoo, I just want to mention that the scroll headers Haken has chosen to use at the top are mind boggling! They bring Firefly back to it’s living self……really cool! The imagery of Mal standing atop the canyon’s edge brings a feeling of reality that he, and you are really there…..fantastic image! Also, just to say, I’ve joined another fan-fiction site near a month ago. Been posting new workers there a bit. I will still be posting my Firefly scribblings here, & also there, but if’n you want to read “Castle”, “Chuck”, “The Thing”, or upcoming “Hunger Games” fiction that I’ll be posting, it’s appreciated if you’ll check it out there. I feel a need to address others issues scrambling around in the old Z brain sometimes, and my interest go beyond, but will never exclude Firefly. Anyhoo, there again, the real me, Z. Still holding!

Hi. I am Samsnake. I was introduced to Firefly by Penquin. I am a student of Appalachian State University. After watching the show, my overall favorite episode is Shindig. I am a fencer, which I was surprised to see that there is a show that does involve dueling, which was AWESOME! Especially the part where Captain Reynolds got Atherton on the ground talking about the makings of a great man. Yeah, he is a great man. Great men do defend a woman's honor, even if it a little...well....strange. Anyways, I it is an honor to be a part of this community. Thanks, Samsnake

A year ago I lost my favourite necklace consisting of the Browncoat insignia in silver (the triangle with a five pointed star on top), an image of Serenity the ship (also in silver, with cut outs to show the bridge windows etc), and the word Serenity in Chinese, also in silver. I've searched and searched but can't find it. I've also searched the internet to look for replacements, but apart from the word Serenity can't find the two I really want - the Browncoat insignia and Firefly. Does anyone have an ideas where I can get replacements? I miss my necklace very much ...

Happily reunited with my computer and outfitted with a new DSL-Router. Life is good.... Next is to get rid of this persistent Writers-Block, that only lets me produce poems, but nothing Firefly-Related. Bummer... At least I got my Computer back. Shiny! y'alls Dorkfish

I've missed being an active participant in the Blue Sun Room! I've been working on the next story in my series, What Begins with an Apple. I've just completed a major revision. I'll be awaiting feedback from my wonderful beta readers, then further editing or re-writes as needed. Hope to begin posting the new tale in a few weeks.

Good morning Browncoats! Just a little blog update and add-on. Went to the theater yesterday to see “Cabin in the Woods” . Very enjoyable. If you haven’t seen it yet, then check it out. I found it to be a cross between Tucker & Dale vs. Evil…Hunger Games…& Wrath of the Titans. Also I’ll say that I have several stories of fiction in the works. It’s been a while, but before long I will be looking to attempt a wrap up of the Firefly fan-fic “Trigger Finger” , but before that I think I will be trying a one-shot FF project called “Avelene’s Diary”. Firefly : Trigger Finger (2 chapters) can be found here on this site Also I am continuing a couple other works of fiction, Hunger Games & The Thing. Hunger Games : Hunger Hunted (10 chaps) can be found here;

What awesomeness would ensue if our beloved Joss Whedon could get the Firefly Serenity and her crew back in flight. I am a late comer to Serenity's fan base but, nevertheless I am enthralled by the characters and tales of adventure that have been told and long for new tellings of those tales yet to be told. As I take a short intermission from watching Serenity yet again, the first time after having watched all the the TV episodes back to back from pilot through episode 14, I wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" to Joss and all of the fans that were so persistant in getting Serenity (the movie) made. It's time for fans to rally again. You know we all would enjoy a sequel or sequels to these amazing stories in the awesome world that Whedon created. So, thank you Joss, thank you fellow fans and here's to hoping for another episode with Mal and crew and whatever mischief they can find before the Alliance completely takes over and there's "no more room for naughty men like us to move about." (quote from Captain Malcom Reynolds.) What do you say Mr. Whedon? Do you have more tales to tell? We're waiting 'round the campfire on an outer rim planet just waiting..... Thanks, David phatbassanchor@gmail.com

I've been an inactive member for the last couple of years :blush:, but never stopped being a Browncoat or sci-fi fan in general. Currently, I've been getting back into the fan fic process. (Tying up the loose ends of ongoing series that just stopped.) I look forward to contributing more in the future. The next piece will be a comedy. Anyway.. Over the years, I've been developing my photography skills. Here are a few examples: SILENCE.
