Man, there's nothing like getting stuck planetside trying to help and old friend pull the power unit from his ship. These things log thousands of hours in the black and build up all sorts of crud! So my buddy's got this transport unit a little newer than mine...a 69-K64...and we're just about ready to lift the power unit, but there's the one gorram bolt that won't back all the way off. Drove us out of our frellin' minds! Long story short, we borrowed some tools from a friend of his down in the gravity well and got the unit out okay. Now to replace the throw-out bearing, get the unit back in, test fire it, and get ourselves back out into the black! -UO

I am having a crap day today. My car broke down on the way to the airport. I know vandalism is wrong, but I don't think they can nail you for beating up your own car, right? Stupid piece of go-se. It'll take a hot bath, fuzzy socks, and at least two episodes of Firefly to make me feel normal.

If you like seeing the supernatural getting is ass kicked, and if you love humor, then I highly suggest seeing Shawn of the Dead! (Rated R, Now Playing) I saw it yesterday evening, and it was about the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. If you don’t know what the movie is, then I’ll give you a basic synopsis of it. Englishman Shawn goes through life day by day with nothing really exciting happening. He has girl problem, his loser friend Ed is trashing Shawn’s place (and life), and his life is going no where. Then, a strange Virus starts turning the people around Shawn and Ed into zombies! He and Ed must pick up his girlfriend and mom, and get to the safest place in town; the local pub. Thrills and spills ensue. A common thread between Shawn of the Dead, and Firefly, is that even the most down to earth people can become BDH’s. I recommend this movie to anyone and everyone (Who doesn’t mind a good old fashioned Horror/slasher/comedy film)! iRiver
