Just posted the fanfic that has been on the back burner. I've been moving :crap: and cleaning up. We're getting smart and having someone else (hay)mow the lawn for the first time this year. Our mower is not working or there. Sigh. Anybody want to buy a house? Dad and aunt on the same floor at the hospital today. They have matching new hips! Life is weird sometimes.

I was sitting at my desk feeling a bit chilly from the air conditioning so I decided to walk down the street and get a cream puff for lunch. I walked outside and as the warm air hit me I thought "today is a great day, sun is shining, it's starting to warm up and it's Friday, yep life is good". I walk to the Best Buns and get my cream puff and sweet boule and head back to my office. As I'm walking, the sun is beating down on my and now I'm thinking "Damn it's hot outside, when's it going to cool down". So strange the way my feelings changed in a span of 5 minutes.

I took a hiatus from all things fandom for a while... I'm in my last quarter of college, and in one week I'll graduate! I'm trying to get back to my favorite fandom of all time now that I'm not so busy.

I have recently started posting a story that I started writing about a year and a half ago, but never finished. First I would really like to thank Jane0904 and BlueEyedBrigadier for all the advice and coments. I feel like I owe everone who read my survival series a bit of an explanation, well, more than a bit. First, I know I have neglected MAl, part of that is that he in probably the most important character in the series. Think about it, who almost throws Jayne out the airlock, who shoots Dobson, who is in every single flashback in out of gas, unless out of gas has flashbacks to simons childhood. That sounds like a contradiction, but I could not live with my self if I messed up mal any more than Simon could live with himself if he let anything hapen to River and Kaylee. Also, the allpowerfull, straightshooting, Steve Roberts (names borrowed form my uncle Steve and the princess bride, possible the greatest book/movie ever). He was a mistake, I shouldn't have made him such a good person. He was suposed to be a blend of Jayne and Wash, with alitle bit of Simon thrown in for good measure. So, for the purposes of character development, I will come up with a reason, Steve is good at reading people, and even better at cons. I have to cut this short for now, but I will throw out one more tidbit of info, even though over 90% of the people that have tried reading this probably hated this. Steve isn't what he seems to be, and the sherade will not last forever.

I am not going to post pics right now, instead I am going to post a rant. I received my $709.50 purchase today. Straight from Sidkits in Italy. Out of a limited run of 50. Lets start from the top. Wrong number of the limited series sent (we agreed on one he sent a different, though I must admit it was the first number we discussed). Gun came in two parts, front half was damaged at the joint, it appears to have BROKEN in the past and been machine fixed. Makes me wonder if I can snap it open, it may just snap again. Cylinder is mis-shapen at some points during its rotation its flush against the hammer side of the gun, other points the gap nears a half inch, I cannot believe how shoddy that is at $709.50 It came missing parts! That's right on top of everything else, it came missing pieces. The bullets did not come with it. So all in all I spent weeks agonizing over saving, days tormenting myself over spending so much, weeks waiting in torment for it to arrive, and in the end it goes back tomorrow for a full refund, except that I have to pay to have it shipped back to Italy! Goramm Piece of Luh Suh! Captain Caille Jensen Not so Shiny!
