hitherdither emotions
clean up on aisle depression
all this poetry in motion
is ruining my self expression

ask me to understand?
well i ask you to clarify
for I am a one man band
and you want to unify

dont underestimate my confusion
for you see, this will only further my complexity
what i feel is no illusion
why did you expect it to be?

the day you comprehend
the day you know whats coming
the day i give a damn
and the day you stop runnin.

god forbid this day comes
for our exterior shells deteriorate
left with only truth
lost the high that denial generates
