Took our time today getting started, since Stephen was still unhappy about the outcome of the match (and the amount of beer he drank drowning said sorrows). Britta and I walked to the bäckerei (bakery) while S made coffee -- we got back and the coffee was still hot! I'm liking this whole walking distance thing. My personal mission is to eat something unfamiliar from the bakery every morning. Today's mystery meal was a large, flat biscuit-looking thing about 6 inches in diameter, topped with a red, sourish fruit and sugary, crumby bits. For breakfast, S served me the saltiest bacon I'd ever eaten with my egg. It made me light-headed. S says Germans could not survive without mustard or salt. I believe him. Oh gosh, how I believe him. We headed out eventually towards the inner city, following the shore of the river Main on the pedestrian/bike pathway. It was so hot, as hot as it is in Texas, and there is no air conditioning. Anywhere. And I came all this way to escape the Texas heat? Seems it's not working. S & B on the Eisen bridge:

Looks like the evil whatsis from last month ate my screening review and my piccy. *sigh* I'll try putting back up the piccy in the BSR, but otherwise... New stuff. Let's see, I went swimming in Lake Michigan on Monday, had fun but am now a crispy critter. I shudder to think what would have happened if I hadn't been wearing SPF-50 sunscreen. I'm currently, other than my real job, looking in on a cat and bunny for a friend. The cat's mewing piteously 'cause I'm not mommy :crap: and the bunny comes upstairs looking for me 'cause she wants to play. I'm now heading towards my yearly 'Pennsic crunch,' trying to get all my gos se together to go camping with 12,000+ other nuts next month. The good is a nice relaxing couple of weeks (compared with being home and going to work) inspite of putting up/taking down camp and helping sell stuff. The bad is I won't be able to come here and play for that time (and I'm limited in my time now to get ready) since, hey, camping...no electricity in camp. On a FF relayed note, someone finally noticed my new antenna decoration (I painted a styrofoam ball with the Serenity symbol)....yea!!! The bad of that was, it was the hwoon dahn who was lighting fireworks right next to a parked SUV, which was parked within 10 feet of the building. GAH! Already had an apartment fire this year, don't want another gorrammit! Oh, I'm gonna try to remember to take & post a piccy of the ball. I didn't write the English on it a I was having a hard enough time doing the Chinese free-hand on the little sucker. I think that's it for now. Thrilling, eh?

Sorry to any one who went to my Firefly fan site. Sadly I never got it going nearly how I planned due to not haveing the time. Well at first didn't have the time being too busy, but then I ended up just forgetting. I could get back to it and make it the site I originally planned for it to be, but I won't. I originally made it due to the very high traffic this site had at that time. Well I'm not sure how this site is now, I haven't been here for a while... Anyways I'm sorry.

Well, this is the proverbial it. :crap: Tomorrow is my last day of college - period. If you've run into me on the site before (particularly in the chat), you'll most likely know that my net access is courtesy of my college. This means that I'll be off the net for a while. I may get the chance to pop in now and then, but it's not that likely, I'm afraid. I'll not be back on regularly 'til I've saved up enough to get my own PC and net access. It's been a blast, being a part of this community for the past two years. Y'all just make sure that it's still here when I eventually get back. "You hold. Hold til I'm back." ~Manti.

I have had it since Monday. All day Tuesday I was sick as a dog. I am od'ing on Prevacid, but it won't go away. It is the awful kind that makes you throw up. Yeah, TMI. Saw the lawyer yesterday. $150 of my moms bucks to tell us what we already knew. I am not having a good feeling. I want to believe that the judge ( a woman) will she the :censored: for the :censored: that he is and want to "punish" him. And then I just get the feeling that I am screwed. Went to the 2nd job last night. The idiots had only scheduled 2 people to close a 5000 sq ft store. It was a mess. They expected me to stay until past 11 pm. I GET UP at 5 am each day. Needless to say, I no longer work there. So now I need to find another crappy part time job. I need a sugar daddy. Someone please contact Nathan and tell him I am waiting!
