I find it slightly annoying when people are reading a book in public, especially a quiet place, and they can't stop laughing to themselves about what they're reading. This happened today when I was trying to sleep outside of my American Literature class(I get there early). I finally opened my eyes to see what the girl was reading that she just couldn't stop laughing at and to my great jubilation it was the Serenity novelization. I asked her if she was a firefly fan and she responded yes very enthusiastically. Apparently she was converted from the reruns on SciFi(most new fans I've met have been, I think it has done a world of good) and like the rest of us, now can't get enough of our BDH. :-) After our brief conversation she went back to her book and I went back to my nap. Yet whenever I heard her laughing again I couldn't help but smile to myself just thinking at whatever joke she might have just read. -e

I've just learn't the rather random and very slightly disturbing fact that my cat has a local fanclub - theres at least one person walking around with her as the screensaver on their phone. Whats rather more annoying is that for the past four years she's been conning me that she doesn't like tinned cat food - she's been getting this expensive dry food for elderly cats and tuna! (tuna is stupidly overpriced in this country, damn Europe!) and yet I just went out side and she's filling her face with kit-e-kat that some neighbour has bought over after apparently recieving a long and woe filled tale about how starved and ill treated she is... that cat is a menace, after we nursed her through her drug dependency and everything.
