Finally, Cold Comfort Mountain is posted. And the SpaceAnJL will never ever start a fic without having a COMPLETE OUTLINE drafted again. Ever. Ever ever. Of course, this means I have to make good on the other stuff I've hinted at. But it will keep my mind off the house thing. As in "What do you mean, the sewers are not connected up to the main sewers...?" So...I have two working days left in cheese-hell, and then I am officially a Struggling Writer. Still, I can't quite make up my mind which one to write up first - the crossover or Zen II. I'm not sure I can actually pull the crossover off - but if I put enough semi-naked Jayne in peril in it, will anyone care? I could put fully naked Jayne in it, but then - plot-what-lost-huh-drool...sorry. You see my problem. Basically, you can't stop the 'AnJL. Unless you have lawyers. PS if site goes down again, I have a posting over on Fanfiction.net, which has an e-mail link. So, StinkingRose, you wanna chew the fat some time, drop right on in. (I found a cream of garlic soup recipe you might like...)

Hi there, I had my first dissertation seminar today. The hardest part was finding the room. The Armstrong building is the most confusing place I have ever been in, it's like a maze. I had to go through the Business school to get to the Classics department. Who the hell puts the business school next to the classics? I bought a laptop today so I can keep all my dissertation work together. It cost a hell of a lot of money but that's what student loans are for. My mam and dad are going to Barcelona next week. Maybe that'll stop my mother on her quest to completely destroy the bathroom. I mean she already broke the glass in the cabinet and now she's pulled the blinds off the wall. My birthday was fun. Me, John and Andrew went out in Durham. We started out a one of the Chinese buffets (not the one we usually go to cos that's got horrendously expensive), then we went to Yate's bar and then to Wetherspoons. I'm actually glad I went home earlier than John and Andrew because they ended up missing the last bus home and Andrew wanted to strangle John cos he was so drunk. TTFN Jennifer -x-

I can't believe it. He did it again. According to one of the kids in my class. She ran into the teacher after we all left (this was when there was only about 10 minutes left in the class)and she told the teacher that everyone waited but since he didn't show, everyone left. He said, yeah. I figured as much and he said, well, there's no point to go now. She said he just went to go get food. *sigh* So, we all show up early for class, as usual, thinking that he'll want to cram as much classtime out of us. So we wait...15 minutes. No one. One kid leaves. 20 minutes. The teacher's still not here. 25 minutes. Nothing. So the rest of the class leaves. I don't mind missing too much class, because everything this teacher is "teaching" us, I learn in high school. So it's not like I'll fail the class. But i don't like people wasting my time. If that happens again, the class agreed, we're going to take it to the department head. We're not going to pay for a class where the teacher doesn't show. This is just crazy.

Yeah, that weekly Blog thing did not work out so well. Interesting stuff doesn't happen that frequently and I eventually started putting in soem completely irrelevant stuff. Oh well I just wanted to try it out. I will still Blog though, when it's appropriate. Yesterday evening I finally got a massage and it was amazing! My back feels 100% better. The lady who was doing the massage also gave me some stretches to do in the morning to help. I initially went in thinking it would be a chance to think about stuff, which was a huge mistake. All I do all day is think, sometimes I'm even multi-thinking! About 15 minutes in to the massage I realized this (after I got over the "holy crap I'm in Inara's shuttle" feeling". It was the most relaxing thing I've ever done, I actually thought about nothing at all, simply listened to the music and enjoyed myself.
