Ok i have posted a new Fanfic. It's the first rough draft of the infamous fanfic novel i have been talking about. I've got a good 7000+ words so far. I want you gents and ladies who are proud browncoats to give a struggling independent some feed back either by posting in the fanfic itself or Email me at yaujta2@hotmail.com. Also if you want print the thing out show it to friends etc. Basically i want it out there so i can get a pack of feed back. This story is my baby and i want it in print. So the big plan is get it all finished and polished and sent it off to Joss and get the official seal of approval. I feel the story is good enough to make it. Ofcourse none of the property is mine so without the official nod she aint getting off the dirt and with out your feed back she wont get polished and sent off. So please help me out. Also theres a special level of hell for people who steal book ideas (see the irony there). Enough palaver go read.

There truly are some gifted writers on this site and they contribute some much-needed quality to the world of fan fiction. Thankfully, there is more quality than otherwise, here in the Blue Sun Room; but I think that comes from the community of folks who inhabit this space and welcome newcomers like me with open arms. I'm try to leave comments for the stories I read, although I've been a lurker for almost 3 years now and have lots of catching up to do. Generally, I prefer the canon-based stories to most alternate universe (AU) stuff, but there are some great examples to the contrary. As for pairings, I prefer the canon relationships and barely-emerging feelings left to us by the series and hinted at in the movie. I'm definitely not a fan of any out-of-character behavior or any of our BDH acting against their nature, at least as revealed in the series and movie. LadySage

I just watched "Done the Impossible" for the first time. I bought it at ComicCon, and then in the confusion of moving 400 miles away, I never got a chance to watch it. I know, excuses, excuses. Anyway, I loved it. It made me feel such love for my fellow Browncoats, and it made me feel like I'm part of something so wonderful just by being a fan. I wanted to say how much I appreciate this fandom as being so unique and... Hell, let's face it... superior to all others. It was so nice to see so many bright shiny fan faces as they talked about what was so important and real and wonderful about Firefly.
