To begin with my wife and I are in the process of adopting from China. We have an adopting agency that we are using but nearly all the paper work we are doing. Getting this paper certified or notarized, just why are we paying them! For some odd reason I believe that if you are paying someone to do a job for you, then they should do that job not you do it for them. I asked about that and was told they act as a middleman between China and us. A very high priced middleman, if you ask me. I am not real happy about what I was told but for now I live with it.Maybe some day Wal-Mart will get into the adoption game and then we'll see what happens.

Why, I ask you, do men assume that because a woman has breasts she is stupid? And why must her degree of stupidity increase with size of said breast? I work in the IT field and for some reason the dumbarse salesmen in the frickin "client development dept" never believe me when I tell them something - ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH DUDE it isn't a router! It can't support IP directed broadcast!!!!!!!!!!! I need an engine to kick them through. Bet no one ever looks at Zoe's chest when she talks to them! In addition, my lawyer has done NOTHING for me in the divorce, my house payment just went up by 200 bucks a month and I am already workin 2 jobs. I need me some Serenity/Firefly. Think I will go pick a disc at random and surprise myself! :crap: :hanged: :disappointed:

Hey, gang, It's seems like forever since I last updated..but gotta keep the old folks cool..I've gotten some comic book work done for my submission to the publishers...they're almost ready to submit and if I can catch a breather this weekend I'll finish 'em up... Still haven't heard one way or the other on my covers....but I'm still hoping for the best... Got a couple of Firefly / Serenity drawings almost ready to post...I'll see if I can get those up this weekend.... On a personal note I had all my a/c refrigeration tools stolen out of my truck this week and am in the process of replacing 20+ years of accumulated tools....which doesn't not suck..I figure they probably got about 10 grand worth...bastards... So till next time.....

So, I am minding my own business, going to work, raising children, shoring up the spousal units self esteem - you know wifely things. And right under my nose the :censored: :censored: :censored: is sleeping with the woman TWO DOORS AWAY! and her name is also Tracy (mine)! but I don't know this until he leaves and I find out AFTER we sign the agreement - the one I signed because he says he just needs to "find himself" (I really should have known better, he couldn't find his ass with a GPS transmitter shoved up it) and then the :censored: :censored: is stupid enough to get married and WE ARE NOT DIVORCED! So now it is my fault - cuz he says so- he won't pay support, the judge threw out the case, we have to start over and then he goes on the stand and tells the court he is a Navy Seal - like I WOULDN'T know that. Apparently he went on a "Secret mission" and I kicked him out! The whole GORRAM town believes this crap. So its a crappy crappy year and the only light at the end of my tunnel is the train bearing down on me. I need SERENITY NOW !

Oh... just watched Aliens again, today, got the quote stuck in my head. (Forgot I even had the Director's Cut.) ... well, I can watch something othert than Firefly/ Serenity, right? :) Anyways, seems to be quite a number of threads discussing Serenity Day/ Summer of Serenity, etc. Getting a little confusing for some of us grunts, I think. Now, it's just shiny that we're having some good discussion about all of this, and what would a forum be without everyone's opinions? But, someone wake me up when it's all over and decided :) I'll keep an eye out for anything that lets me know if we've got an official plan, and look forward to seeing wether or not I'll have transportation for one of the Serenity screenings on June 23rd (I'll be the dork with the lunchbox :) Anyways, keep shiny people, and don't forget we're all family here. May be some bickering at times, but we're all here for the same reasons.
