Found this neet site today called art.com where you can make paintings and then watch while they repaint them. Kinda childish actually, but heck, I like childish things :wink: To bad I paint at a fifthgrade level, but atleast I paint better on a computer then in real life. Look at my "awesome" painting here

Times Festival of Books this weekend) and this weekend starting Friday I'll be manning our Book Stall & info booth at the Upland Lemon Festival if you're in the area and wanna stop by to say Ni Hao-dy... The Lemon Festival will be off Euclid Ave. 9th and 3rd. Look for the ISLAM INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS banner... Don't have a browncoat per se, but I got a brown vest -- does that count?

In my horrible mopeyness yesterday, I was flipping through channels, and I came across Mammoth. It's a good movie, made even better by the presence of Summer in her not-so-morbid-and-creepifying act. Well, I felt better. Although I prefer the morbid and creepifying Summer. And, even though I knew the character's name, I always referred to her as River. ~WG out

For all those who responded to my blog yesterday. I went outside! I went rollerskating! Then I tried skateboarding well longboarding for about 2 min. I thought I'd never get on a skateboard again as long as I live cause I usally hurt myself terribly whenever I step on one. Also nothing to do with firefly or serenity but you were all so nice yesterday. I feel heathier already!

You know sometimes they are there in disguise. I have been taking college classes and this year I graduate. Last week at one of my English classes the teacher passes out this list of sci-fi movies. We have to watch one from the list and next week discuss the movie's vision of the future. (No, Serenity was not on the list, though it should be.) Anyway,at break my teacher is talking about how she loves science fiction and a little fantasy depending on what it is. She happened to sit by me this class. I look at her, this fun older woman with spunk who I have enjoyed having class with but never would have guessed she loves sci-fi. So I lean over and say "Connie, have you ever heard of a show called Firefly?" and how did she answer : "I own Firefly" I swear I was struck dumb for two seconds and my eyes lit up. "I love it" she continues. "My son and i got into it a while ago." THen I say "then you have seen the movie" "of course" she repies. Okay that just made my day it really did. Who would have known that my college english instructor is a fan of Firefly - don't know if she is a full fledged browncoat, but still. Someone in my 'Verse (besides my family) loves Firefly. So here's to Browncoats everywhere. The ones we know and the ones yet to be found. I wonder how many other people I pass on the street are Browncoats. I wish there was a way to tell, like if we carried around a pin or something.

I'm jumping out of an airplane tomarrow!!!!! I was going to go to a concert but it sold out for the first time in history! So now instead we're jumping out of an airplane with parachutes. I'm sooooo exicted!!!!! I was reading the buffy thread when I got the call so this is where it goes also I have a desire to tell everyone so I can't wuss out at the last moment. UPDATE:Okay so here's the plan, tickets may still be avalible! If so concert still on. If not skydiving. And if it looks like tickets are still avlible and we get there and that's not the case it's a hop skip and a jump away from mexico. I love my friends!

With "The Unexpected", I had a deadline to make. The ending I feel was a little rushed. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow afternoon (4-29-06)and there is some remodling being done which never goes easily; so I wanted Simon to be out of his cell and the baby to be born. I hope I am forgiven for the rush. I will be back where I can write on-line after June 10th, ansd with some luck much sooner For "The Recovery", i'll have time to explore some of the areas about Simon's recovery that went unexplained. I also had intended to write a epilog to "The Unexpected" placed on year into the future. instead, I want to explore how Simon reacts to being free, of reforming contact with Kaylee, forming a bond with littl Rill (for the few of you who don't know, a rill is a small brook - so in a way she is named after River.) and can anybody see Simon doing baby talk? Besides how can I pass up the chance for River to harass "Captain Daddy"? After "The Recovery" I want to merge the story line with the events in the movie - i've had more rewrites removing references to the movie than anything else. Till later. Zucht

NEEDY

I had a plan. A very good plan. ... Well ok, it wasn't THAT good, but I had a plan nevertheless. So whilst working today (And the past few days for that matter) I've been thinking about adding the next chapter of Needy's Destiny. I thought about where I was going to take it and, not only that, but also the future Needy arcs in SereniTree, Destiny and spin-off stories. But it was getting too much so I decided that when I finished work, I'd get straight to writing Chapter 6 of Needy's Destiny cos I had to start somewhere. I was in the right mindset and everything but I had to nip into town, so I thought I'd do it afterwards. But afterwards came dinner, and because I knew I'd be watching the Ricky Gervais episode of The Simpsons about 30 minutes later, I decided to hold back till after then. You know where this is heading already don't you? I didn't do squat. I came back and found a friend was online on MSN so I chatted to her for a bit and before I know it it's 9.40pm and my head is killing (I've had a headache a few days off and on) So now I'm not up for it. And I'm kinda annoyed. It's the story of my life, I put things off again and again until it's too late and I'm cursing myself for doing it. I'd like to think I'd write some no matter waht tomorrow, but I don't know how much time I'm going to have. I'll probably be going out in the morning till early afternoon, and again at night to the house of the friend I was just talking to. Not sure what's happening midday, but if its anything like most weekends of late, either my sister will be coming round or my uncle will be coming to do some work on our kitchen (and the pc is situated about a metre away) Agh!!!
