Well, fellow 'Coats. It seems like I joined the ranks a year ago today when I went to see the 10:30 showing of Firefly last October. It was actually a thursday night, and I had school the next morning :biggrin: Hard to believe it's been a whole year! I remember the moment I saw Serenity hit atmo for the first time on the big screen, with the amazing music playing, I was hooked. I dragged my friends a half an hour away in November to see a second screening of it, and I even hosted a Serenity Party at my home when the DVD came out. 14 people came, and we ate Chinese food! I also brought a friend to the Serenity Day screening in Chicago. It's definitely been an amazing ride so far, everyone. And I hope it doesn't end here!

It seems like I'm the only one that's way obsessed with Firefly/Serenity, sometimes. I know I'm not, but it feels like it sometimes. Especially livin here in SC. There's not a lot of Browncoats here. In fact, aside from my wife and I; I only know of two maybe three other people who even know what Firefly, or Serenity, is. I've got a bag and two firefly shirts with two more shirts and a bumper sticker on the way, but they're mostly lost on the population here. Course then again, the people who know what Firefly is are the closest of my friends, so it's not completely lost. While we(my wife and I) were borrowing her mom's copy of Firefly, I was watching an episode or three every day. Now that we had to give it back, I watch Serenity every day. I need to get my own copy of the series, but can't afford it at this time. But yet, I've got a traditional Japanese sleeve on my left arm in the works. But, then again, I've only got 7 more hours to go b4 it's done. Oh well, thanx for lettin me ramble about nothing in particular. Hope everyone's day is shiny.

I've known about this place for a few days now, and I finally gathered the guts to join and actually submit something *gasp*! I didn't become a browncoat until my best friend shoved Serenity in my face, of which I thanked her rigourously afterwards. She hasn't become one herself, but I'm working on that, :evil: Anyways, I hope to have a blast here!
