A comment on BlueEyedBrigadier 's question. Yes indeed, how does one convert someone to a Browncoat if they are not a Browncoat themselves? Well, let's just say, she made me aware of Serenity, then I did the rest. When I learn about things I have a tendency to go and investigate these things if they hit a cord in me (Serenity had me reliving the same experience I had when I saw Star Wars), so I was pretty much dedicated anyway). I saw a lot of familiar things, the way Mal almost was a Han Solo-ish character, the old western style, guns, old battered spaceships. It was a mix of things I loved, and the way the film presented itself just kinda trapped me and wouldn't let go.

I both write fan fictions and draw fan art, however, none of my produce have actually made it online without being deleted after 24-hours of online time. I guess I just have little faith when it comes to that.
I'll have to write more here as I come up with it...
