It's been a while, I know, and I've been promising an update to Legacy for more than a month, now, but I must admit, I've been distracted. On the one hand, my student loan has come in (thus sparing the people at the student loans office a fate so much more horrible than death as to not properly be classified as such without an asterisk beside it leading to a great deal of grisly fine print). That's a good thing, as I can now afford to pay both rent and my tuition. On the other hand, midterms. Gack. Not that I'm any sort of slacker (snirk) but this time of year has me burned out at the best of times. Now, though, it's reading week, so all I can do is stress and worry whether I've learned the right material for the tests which await. And I should mention that I don't deal with stress well; my bodies first reaction to stress is to completely shut down my immune system. My body is stupid. On the other other hand... I have three hands? I should get that checked out... Medication got bumped up again, and now I'm literally having to beg for freebies from the doctor because my 'student health plan' doesn't deem antidepressant medication a vital medicine. Pain in my ass. On yet another hand (whoa, jeez, I'm up to four!), I've hit a bit of a bit of a dry patch with my writing, which caused the aforementioned one-month delay in the most recent update of the Legacy saga. The new chapter's pretty much done, but it needs some tweeking before I'll be happy with it. At least I'm fairly sure this'll be the last episode which is intended exclusively for set-up. After this, it's just a row of ADHD monkeys flinging crap at a fan showcase. I'm just rambling now, I'm tired, it's midnight, and I still don't know if my meds are working. So, I suggest you all go read Legacy (what, am I not allowed to shamelessly plug on my own blog?), and leave this cantankerous, 21-year-old fart to go to sleep. (Go read Legacy. This is a subliminal message. Really. Can't you see how subliminal this is?)

I'm going to take some time away. I've gone away before and returned...hopefully I won't be gone for good. I just need time away from some of the attitudes here. This isn't just RWE stuff. Things just aren't the same and I haven't changed with them. I don't know if I'm stuck in the 'good ol days' or what. See ya round. Bye.

Not much to say. I'm sick now, and have been for the better part of the week. Head/ Chest cold. Ugh. I feel inhuman. It's starting to get to me.

Ye gads, I just noticed that I've been on FFF for a year now...shininess!! And after a long and painful absence, I'm back and...well, won't say better than ever, 'coz far behind me now are some of the finest Browncoats in the 'verse. :disappointed: Can only hope that ahead of me lie some equally fine folk in the New England Browncoats chapter. Un-freaking-believable, though, how little downtime I've had over the past month and a half - getting a new job, finding out that I got it only two ruttin' weeks before ground school was due to start, turning in notice at my old job and residence, packing up, moving back to NH, attending another two weeks of ground school for a regional freight railroad, being called to work immediately thereafter, training on the job and finding a place to live, which has taken up the last three weeks... I'm about ready to plop back and relax with my DVD set and some cider (not drugged, plzkthx). BUT I ain't even done moving in, wouldn'tcha know. Anyway, look for the return of the Burma-Firefly icons some time in the next couple of weeks. And, hopefully not too long after, a complete rewiring and repost of a newly complete and newly betaed (courtesy of KayleeGirl) 'When in Rome'! Keep Flying, - Steemah
