It seems my log entries have been about death as of late. Not exactly a good start. Though, Death must be enjoying himself in Sci-Fi Hollywood. Read today that Jonathan Brandis just passed away at 27. Remember him? He played boy genius Lucas Wolenczek on SeaQuest DSV.

11:00 am mountain time Uggh....I have to take the dog to the vet in a few hours. She's got a fat lip and I'm sure it isn't anything serious but I always get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, like I'm either going to pass out or throw-up when we walk in the office. I had to put my dog I'd had for fourteen years to sleep about two years ago and I don't think I'll ever get over that. Since then walking into the vet's office is a major challenge. I think there really isn't enough air in those offices and like space, I'm afraid I'll start screaming and no one will be able to hear me. But before the vet's office....beer making!! That's right yours truly has the hops, the yeast, the malt and a bunch of other stuff I don't know what to do with yet! So onward browncoats to yeasty bliss! 6:15 pm Good dog news! Just a small staff infection on her lip! Antibiotics for 10 days then we're done. Better yet, I didn't get sick, pass out or start to cry at the vet. More good news! Beer has been made! Five gallons sit fermenting in my closet as I type. It all came together nicely and I'm actually seeing little bubbles which means the yeast hasn't fallen victim to a mistake in time or temperature. I'm off to do some online shopping and watch Joan of Arcadia...Have a wonderful friday night fellow browncoats.

11-21-03 So I just drop a few thoughts on here now & then, hey maybe you'll find it interesting, maybe not so much. But hey it's Friday, a holiday in and of itself. Not much interesting right now, but hey if your curious t see what happens in the life of this here Browncoat, than hey stay tuned.
