I saw the movie, liked it well enough and said "hey that would be an awesome series" only to be told "you idiot, it used to be a series". (In my defense I was overseas when it was on the air and by the time I got back to the states Serenity was coming out) so I decided to check out the show and the first time I heard those words "We will rule over all this land and we will call it..This land" I was hooked. It amazes me that it was cancelled and pisses me off to no end. Anyways just wanted to share...toodles

Today I was perusing some of my mom's makeup in the bathroom so I could *coughcough* test it. I looked at this one eye shadow, it was new and nice so I thought "Shiny!" as I applied it. I looked on the back and guess what color they called it? "Serenity," no joke, I got so excited! And then I moved it to my room for, ummm, safe-keeping :D Thought I would share, I just like little moments like this. The brand was Lorac for those who are curious, and it's a nice pink/gold color.

well, she's still pregnant, but now she's pregnant and big, Sunday I had to persuade a German shepherd dog to leave her alone (although maybe he was there for the food we put out for her) I decided to put updates on this "Blog" thingy (Me, not the most technical person on the face of the Earth) so, let you know when there are more kitties being fed here.

OK #2 has Marfan's and a severe case of pectus excavatum (look them up its lovely). He has to have surgery NEXT WEEK. Yesterday we spent the afternoon getting an echocardiogram. ON A 15 YR OLD BOY. I am waiting for the results and a date and time for the surgery. Got home last night from the Dr's office and checked my email. My friend Sarah had kindly taken my beautiful Golden Retreiver into her home when we went back to the UK. I didn't take him back when we got home, cause they had become attached. Any way, he died yesterday. Its funny but of all the crap that is going on, that is upsetting me the most. My mom has to have colon surgery next week. My year is looking great. The week before and after my birthday look to be just peachy and then divorce court on the 4th of August. Anyone know how I could mainline Tequilla? Or perhaps get an industrial sized tub of Valium? Thank you to those that have sent me kind thoughts. It is appreciated. I just like to whinge.

I really am hopeful that "Over the Hills..." will be finished by the end of the month (only two more weeks, ah!). Ch 16 went up yesterday, and 17 is already half-written. My original outline as twenty chapters, but I think it will end up being nineteen. It is very odd. Since May I have been on the verge of giving up since I thought I would never finish it, and now that it is almost done I am discovering all these new things within it and I don't want it to end. Go figure, huh? Peace (and go read ch 16) Katie
