Me and firefly get along very well. Ever since I started watching firefly I noticed I appreciated the more simpler things in life and could go on thinking on the bases of knowning of peoples actions and emotions. I feel like like firefly has given me a view of all aspects of life as it excists today.

(Off-topic: wrote my first exam today. Only two more to go. Hurray!) Okay, in my previous blog I was ruminating on whether I should take a Creative Writing class. I'm still on the fence, I'll probably to start to think about this more seriously after exams are done, but I decided to read all the stuff they have on the English Department's website, just to prepare myself. Nothing really swayed my deciding more to the "take the class side", but I did find this application I have to fill out:

I'd forgotten the therapeutic value is blogging about stuff. So, I'm having thesis angst. I have to turn in a draft tommorrow, but I haven't finished it yet. The stupid thing isn't due until May 4, but my thesis committee wants to read it. This is seriously putting a cramp in my procrastination tendencies. I do all my best work at the last minute. Yet, here they are forcing me to turn in a draft. Oh well, I guess I'll have to work on it tonight. I really am excited about graduating. Then I'm moving back to Idaho. Yeah! No more stupid, Northern Virginia traffic. I'm currently doing the whole job and apartment hunting thing. Just think-two months from today, I'll be in Boise:) Of course all of my planning will be for naught if I don't finish this stupid thesis on time. Okay, so maybe I should stop hanging out on this website and actually do it, right? Right.

Oh boy, my first blog. Been here for a few months now, and finally learning to maneuver my way around. Phew. Ok, about me. As per usual, if there's any good shows on TV, I don't fall in love with them until they are off the air. (Most of the time I find them in re-runs) I caught the Sci-Fi marathon in January for Firefly and was swooped up immediately! I bought the DVD's and the movie, then headed into the black (net) in search of fan fiction and info. Bless all of you for your contributions that enlighten late comers like me. :smile: I'm totally on the Mal/Inara love train, and would lub it if someone would show me where the next stop was. :wink: So here's my plea to all the fan fic writers, WRITE MAL AND INARA PLEASE!!!! Write them as secondary characters, honorable 1 chapter mentions, anything. If you write them, I shall read and comment. :biggrin: Off to hit refresh for the umpteenth time today and see what's new.
