**I can't believe how motivated I am to write lately... It's shocking!!** :naughty: The Last Firefly: Chapter 3... I'm really hesitant about posting this chapter due to a 'special' scene. Let's just say it might have to be posted under NC-17... I don't want to lose readers because of it (sorry, it's not sex)... Well, I guess some things can't be helped. :crap: So if you readers happen to stumble upon this note, it's more of a heads up for what's about to come. It's happy at the beginning but it gets sad really fast. UPDATE: Okay. After reading some of the more NC-17 fanfics out there, I decided to let this chap fly and will stick with PG-13... Unless I get in trouble... UPDATE 2: I decided to say "To hell with waiting to release the chapter!" So I released it today. Yay~ Three updates in 2 days! Also, I learned how the whole fanfic post deal works. I'm proud of meself!!! Yes, "meself." :briggen:

Hey All Two weekends ago, I finally saw KNOCKED UP. It was the one summer movie (next to LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) that I was eager to see, and it was so worth it. When it comes to the cheap theater in Regina, I'll probably SERENITY it (that is see it as many times in one day as I can). The thing that sucks though about something like that is that once you see the movie you're dying to see and it pays off, you don't have anything else to look forward too for a while. Well, that's all changed now. I recently listened to the audiobook for THE ROAD and I've recently discovered Cormac McCarthy. And I had heard that the Coen Bros. were going to adapt NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN as their next movie. So I was really curious about what they were going to do. Well, the first trailer for it is officially out, and I gotta say that this is the one film coming out in the fall I'm now dying to see. After the disappointment of THE LADYKILLERS, this is going to put the Coens back on top. This is BLOOD SIMPLE territory they're in now. Javier Bardem does indeed look like the ultimate badass and possibly the next great movie villain, I loved that "bubonic plague" comment by Woody Harrelson and the composition, color scheme and editing of the trailer seems reminiscent of both the Coens at their peak and McCarthy's prose visualized.

I want to know how other people write. Whether you have the entire story mapped out, either in your head or on paper, before you even begin, or whether you have a vague idea of A to Z, and then fill in the rest as you go. And do you have the whole story written before you upload, or do comments influence you into changing things? For myself, I tend to fall into the latter two categories. I always have a number of stories waiting, even if it’s only a paragraph or two, or half a page of dialogue, or (in one instance coming up a little way down the line) the entire second half! But I upload as I write, usually only a chapter or two ahead. You may have noticed I do take note of comments – sometimes they make me think again about my work, see things I hadn’t noticed – and a lot of the time they give me plot bunnies for later stories (BEB, there’s one coming up you inspired!), but so much of my writing changes as I write. For instance, one of the characters in my current arc [b]THE BEQUEST[/b] was mentioned in passing, with a name. It was going to be a man, but when I chose the name it occurred to me that it would be good as a woman. So that’s what I made her. Then, after I’d uploaded that chapter, the idea came to me that if I made her like this, then she could be part of that, and then … the whole thing began to flow and change, and although the essential story remains the same, the characters took over. Actually, does anyone else find that? The canon characters, hopefully, stay true, but they seem to go out and bring their friends in, people you find yourself writing but don’t know how? Or is it just me waiting for the guy with the cute white jacket that does up at the back?

Ok, so prom was last night.... o it was amazing, truly and utterly awesome. loads of people said they thought my dress was gorgeous, and I got loads of lovely dancing in ;) Best thing though: I spent almost the entire night with this really lovely, sweet guy, who insisted on buying my drinks and asked for my number at the end of the night. Why the hell did I not get to know him before the last night of school I have no idea, cos we have so much in common, and we just seemed to click. He is really great. I would have got to spend more time with him, cept we were going to separate after prom parties, and though he tried, he couldn't get a lift to the one I was at at 2 in the morning. Luckily for me, a friend of mine is having a rather belated after-prom next saturday, and he should hopefully be there... fingers crossed... So I am absolutely shattered, after about two hours sleep on the floor at the party, sharing a sleeping bag with two other people, but it is totally worth it, it was one of the best nights [i]ever.[/i]

Yes, finally!! I have released the chapter that has been burning a hole in the back of my head. Yay for "Chapter 04: I am sin." *hold up a lemon-lime gatorade for a geeky cheers* I love this chapter sooo much. Not sure why, probably because I am more sadistic than I thought I was before. I'm buzzed on gatorade and imagination. What two incredible combinations. :naughty: Now I may relax as I diligently yet calmly write up the next chapter. The true reason for the story being horror is still to come next, along with an explanation for the title.Ohh! Gets me all giddy inside. Stay shiny peoples! I'm heading back to writing~ :evil:
