I just recently watched the Firefly TV series again, for the 5th time. The original pilot "Serenity" showed a downtrodden world where they picked up Book and the Doc. Then last night, I noticed Battlestar Galactica used a similar setting when they "settled" New Caprica! Firefly fans should be glad that such good shows are getting the hint as to what we want to watch. Check out what I said @

Steady... Think about it... My right hand is shakin likea leaf on a tree... I wonder can we move both ships together maybe even fullburn outta here... Boogers got this strange look on his face like he heard what I was thinkin... He hollers to Evans " Captian wants ta know if we can fullburn with the ships docked like they are?'' Was I thinkin out loud? Evans asks am I crazy or plain stupid... I dont know how ta answer... "Well can we or not?" I heard myself that time I know. Evans says The docks are not designed to with stand such stress... It could rip us both apart if we do a fullburn... " Can we even manuver around maybe make the reavers work a little harder for thier meal?"... Evans came back" One way or another we may die , but Im for given them a run for thier money..." Funny he should mention MONEY... "How far out are they Lou"? My question was rewarded with a sudden shakin of both ships. " Start backin us away slow at first Lou then gradually increase speed we gotta do somthin here I aint wantin ta be a main course tonight"... Booger and I make our way to the other gunnery chairs and prepare to give the SOB's a bloody nose. We are take hits pretty hard and the reavers are commin close ta make a grab at us. Just what I wanted targets to hit with out aimin... I yelled over the intercom " Give'm hell boys" The Cannons popped out and I got three shots into the secound reaver ship close to us before it turned in to a ball of fire Im drawin a bead on the Biggest Reaver ship out there squeezin the trigger and feelin the weapon recoil seven or eight times makin the reaver ship slow up a little but its still commin at us... Booger and Drew have sent a few reavers on to reaver hell... The reloader has finished wth my Cannon and I cram another three shots into the big reaver ship it starts ta veer to port and rams the ship next to it... Suddenly we take a hit I say we but it was the other ship thats got my ship held captive that takes the hit...I wonder if anyones alive down there...I sure as hell cant stop ta go lookin for survivors now can I? Ouch! it takes another hit! Well so much for survivors... I holler at Evans ta go ta fullburn we cant take no more of this and ammo is runnin low...I sure as hell aint gonna be on the menu at a Reaver BBQ...

...even a snickers won't fix it. for those of you who are not currently sharing a telepathic bond with or are the mad little leprechaun that lives in my head and tells me to do stuff, i'll explain. today i: + got told i was too stupid to take the higher course in not one, but two subjects. + had gritty snowballs smushed in my hair and shoved down my school shirt, which instantly went see-through and soaked my school blazer. not a good look in front of the really hot guy who sits behind you in english. + discovered a hole in each boot. by stepping in a puddle. + broke a nail (oh, big b-o-o h-o-o, i know, but i am completely and utterly fed up so i'm allowed to put that on the list, 'kay? thought so ) and worst of all, i can't even get a comfort hug from my mum 'cause she's working. i have to face telling my dad i'm dumb all by myself. i know how this is gonna end: i'm gonna tell him i got dropped. he's gonna tell me i haven't been working hard enough. it's gonna escalate into this massive row about my future and one of us is going to cry. most likely me. oh well. *scarfs third snickers bar* b

Been chatting with MalNourished an awful lot lately. She and FollowMal have got yahoo messenger and we're becoming quite the trio. That's what's so nice about Browncoats. There isn't that nerdiness or geekiness about it and browncoats are always so nice. Not like those Trekkies and Trekkers. Laid back, sittin easy. Just like the 'verse. Been getting psyched for this Moonlight Rising convention. I've already got Jaynesbunkwoman converted and she's now going too. I've been trying to do some of my viral marketing a bit. I'd say one ticket means it is working at least a little! Got some entirely excellent news today. Best ever. The girls over at Appreciatin' Nathan board are doing up tee-shirts and we wanted to give one to Nathan. Looks like I'll get a chance to give it to him. This whole convention thing has me floored. I've been to about three conventions before. Two Creation Conventions and one Blake's 7 Convention. The Blake's 7 one was more like this Moonlight Rising one, but mom and I couldn't stay overnight. I heard rumors about big-ass parties and crazy goings-on. Being a teenager at the time (like 14!) I'm now old enough to become a part of that and I'm seriously looking forward to it. I've never had good seating and never even thought that I'd be speaking to the chairperson of the event. And here I am, already spoken to the chairperson on the phone and reserved seating! It's friggin awesome. Sometimes I just can't believe it. If I'm having this much fun leading up to the gorram thing, I can only imagine what fun I'm going to have actually AT the convention with my crew there!
