Went to see Star Trek last night, and I have to say it was brilliant, particularly Zachary Quinto as Spock. The ears looked real, too.

But what got me the most was the influence of Joss Whedon! Hand-held camera work, flares in the camera lens ... and lots of humour that wouldn't have been amiss on board Serenity. Chris Pine gets beaten up almost as often as Mal! Go see it if you haven't - it's well worth the price of admission.
