Mom's memorial service is less than 11 hours away now. As she was cremated, we opted to wait a week for the service so that family and friends from out-of-state would be able to make it. My best friend won't be able to make it, however, as she had outpatient surgery yesterday. I told her that I'd come visit her in a few days and for her to take it easy.

I had a number of things I needed to do yesterday, and only managed to get the laundry done. And now I can't get to sleep, so I'll probably surf online for a bit and then try reading myself to sleep.
