Mom Update

It's cancer, and fairly agressive from the sounds of it.

Results of the CT scan showed cancer in her liver, colon and lymph nodes. This is all new since her last check-up with an oncologist a few months ago. Tomorrow she's going to see another oncologist and hopefully will get a plan of action.

Mom sounds in good spirits in spite of it (although my step-dad says the morphine cutting the pain is probably helping that a bit) and is optimistic. I wish to heaven I was. I'm trying, but failing miserably at the moment.
