A sci-fi/western novel...

I'm reading a book right now that deals with humanity's first encounter with aliens... in Arizona, in 1881. It has stagecoaches, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, gunslingers and stagecoaches. It also has alien beings, advanced space humans, all kinds of cool sci-fi stuff.

Reading it reminds me a lot of Firefly, but the western stars - Earp and Holliday and the Clantons - don't know about the aliens.

If anyone's interested, the book is "Frontier Earth" by Bruce Boxleitner (yes, Captain John "Scarecrow" Sheridan from Babylon 5...) and it's available at Amazon.com for thirty-seven cents. A NEW copy is thity-seven cents.
