Here's bouncy blog entry, because I've not slept in 40+ hours! Hope you don't mind stream of consciousness!I went outside to smoke a cigarette, and several people, officers, really, looked at me like I had just crapped on their breakfast plate. I continued to smoke. If you don't like smoking, don't hold your picnic in a DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA!
I'm gonna go on the record and say that prefabricated furniture is a work of Satan and/or his minions. Actually, I like it a lot, its easy, sometimes fun, but sometimes, the end does not justify the means?
Why do I like vampire stories so much? For that matter, why do I like most anything I do? I was raised in rural (read population of "town" 150) Kentucky. Why don't I grow things, or hoss cattle, or hunt? Why don't I chew tobacco and spit, like most of my family does? Why do I wear so much black? That's not true...my wife threw out most of my black clothes? Okay, so why do I come from a family of tidy whity wearers yet only wear boxers myself? Why am I turning this into a Why blog?
Speaking of the blog topics I got, I'm thinking I might stop doing that...I mean, they're fun, and true, for the most part. My father really did think I was gay or on drugs because of my hair. Jerk!
Most of my family drinks unsweetened ice tea...I only take mine with sugar...Did ya'll know that.
I have very little formal education. The last time I remember being happy about an education event was when I, and three other students earned an Expert writing level achievement on our writing portfolios senior year. The other three were girls. One was my girlfriend. I wrote most of hers myself. She is now the editor in chief of a college newspaper with a masters in journalism. I empty the recycle bins from time to time...I could not be confused with anyone who is ambitious.
Code Red will turn your teeth crimson if you drink enough of it. Which, would be pretty cool if there was someone I could pretend to bite around here.
Half of the appeal in a new television show for me is the theme song. Strange...yes! When Firefly's theme came on during the first showing of the Train Job, I knew this was my show. And then it was gone. I started really watching Buffy when I caught the opening credits one day. I love Angel's theme song. Lost in Space...yeah, you betcha! Wonderfalls...so...damn CATCHY!!! You can tell a lot about a show from the credits...I mean, Herman's Head...YEAH BOYEEEEE!!!
Speaking of which, I was a big fan of novelty cereals as a child, well into High School. Which is why I'm pretty sure that I was the only sophmore with a box of Kid n Play cereal in his possession. Batman, C3PO, Donkey Kong, Nerds, Smurfs, Mr. T...I ate them all, and happily drank the discolored milk from the bowl.
My mother dressed me as a vampire for most of the Halloweens I can remember from my youth. Halloween should be recognized as a national holiday and given the respect it deserves. If only people would stop with the toliet paper. How many times have I been looking for the toliet paper, and thinking, Man...why did I TP the commander's yard!
I drive a crappy Kia Spectra...with the strangest music pouring out of it sometimes...Elvis, MC Hammer, Nine Inch Nails, Beethoven, John Williams, Ballad of Serenity, Lisa Loeb (More likely than anything else) Damien Rice, Aphex Twins, Garth Brooks, and yes, even Justin Timberlake! Amongst many, many others...That person who blew past you with Coldhearted Snake by Paula Abdul blaring out...yeah, that was me!

Am I the only guy who thinks that little dip in the middle of a woman's collar bone is sexy? Why am I attracted to librarians? I mean...good looking librarians? And, for some reason, though they've been out of style for almost ten years now, I dig chicks in chokers.
