I'm 33, and live in St. Paul. My wife and I discovered Firefly just a few months ago at the insistance of a co-worker. We watched the first 2 DVD's, then saw Serenity. After the movie, we watched the rest of the eposides. Like a lot of other people, I'm completely at a loss how something this genuinely cool could be cancelled, considering the competition. My wife, who is originally from Siberia, is also completely hooked. She's spread the word to friends and family in her home city of Kemerovo and they love it there as well (and they all went and saw the movie). So if there's any doubt that it doesn't have broad appeal :)

I wish I would have found it sooner. I would have loved to see how this board lit up when it was announced that there would be a movie. The firefly community is almost as unique and cool as the series itself. I wish I could have been part of it from the beginning.
