Biography
Hi, I'm Danechi.
I'm basically what my tag up top says. An Autistic Browncoat who is just fine with what she is. I don't need to be fixed or cured, and I'm tired of dealing with people who say that I and others like me do. Of course, I can't stop dealing with them, because that would mean just letting them put kids through abusive therapies and justify the murders of autistics by calling us burdens. So I'm not shutting up. Sorry.
Luckily, though, this is fireflyfans.net, so the rest of you won't have to deal with my venting on that subject. I just wanted to bring that up, since autistic advocacy is a core part of what I'm about. The Firefly part is also a lot simpler to explain, or the not-so-simple bits are not-simple enough that I'm not going to bother to type them out in this bio.
Firefly is basically the only TV I watch, besides Doctor Who and the occasional House episode. Besides that, I'm interested in the Discworld books, and Jasper Fforde's Nursery Crimes series.
