Biography
Well, hum, what to say?
Love Firefly and the BDM! Watch both every time I get the chance. I really enjoy all the fanfics and how each person who writes them develops different scenarios for their favorite character(s), whether the story is series related, Post-BDM or AU. I wish I was as creative and skilled in story telling as the writers I’ve read… I guess that’s why I’m a Science major.
My favorite character is hard to choose, I like them all for different reasons. I think that’s what I like about Joss’ work, is that, in Firefly there really isn’t one character that one solely relates too. I personally think that each of the nine are representatives of the different facets of a human’s total emotional experience. And then, I love how each character will act one way one moment, then be completely different the next; keeping you on your toes.
If I had to rank them: Jayne, Wash, Kaylee, Book, Mal, Zoe, Simon, Inara, and then River. Not that I don’t think River isn’t interesting, it’s just that her train of thought can sometimes make me cross-eyed after a while. I like Jayne and Kaylee pairings, Mal and Zoe banter, Book when he’s strong and mysterious, Simon when he’s snobbish and pretentious even when he doesn’t mean to be, and really anytime Wash (who I personally like to call by his first name ‘Hoban!’) is in the room.
Well, I guess that’s enough said for now. Just one last thing… if anyone would like to work with me on any fanfics that they are writing or have any VFF ships that they need crew for, send me a wave. Like I said before, I’m not a literary genius, but I do have some characters that I think would be fun to maybe collaborate with; and I’m not really all that knowledgeable about VFF’s, but I wouldn’t mind joining in on some angst-ridden adventures.
