I suppose it's too much to hope that some of these cities might be outside the USA. I know there are rumours of a UK screening in August, but one sooner than that would be just plain shiny.

Think it'll come out as soon as MovieTickets.com stops doing it's routine maintenance it's been doing for the last hour and a half?
Not that I've been pressing F5 over and over or anything.
Nope.
Well, yes.

Regarding tickets already on sale:
On Fandango, I can only find through May 22. How do I ask it for a date beyond the dropdown list?
(Their FAQ only talks about the dropdown list)

"Big damn junkies, Sir!"

I was just going to say the same thing myself. I mean yes, I've already seen it, but there are others besides myself in the UK who would like to see it. And, to be shamelessly selfish, I wouldn't object to seeing it again...

Do we know for sure this is Joss? Sounds like him, but...how come we didn't all get an e-mail this time?

I'm sure it's legit. Chris Buchanan reposted the message on the OB last night.
I just think he got all excited and wanted to let us know vs. the marketing plan the previous announcement was...
It looks like the UNI board has got their troll problem under control so they may send out a global later today. Hopefully, with all cities listed and links set up at the Can't Stop the Signal website.

Seems we Australians have been overlooked in all this.. I am hankerin for this damn movie just as much as the next guy, surely an Aussie perspective might be nice for universal too.

Seattle, so far as I can tell, is the only one that is set up to sell May 26th 10pm show
(which would be 'Serenity')
if your city doesn't have the pull down showing May 26th 10pm show...
then it is necessary to wait until they do have the tickets available for sale
(which is the situation for Chicago and most cities)...
at some point today (could be 11:59 pm tonight for all I know)
they should have the tickets available with ALL the cities listed, here:
http://www.cantstopthesignal.com/
but as we can see...that hasn't happened yet!
Good luck!
edited to ad: I'm sure the original post was Joss
his correct name at the Universal board is
Joss_Whedon, and he is identified as 'Serenity Cast/Crew' (which would have to have been done by the board owner)
and he had the right number of total posts...
only 5! LOL

as much as i love the prescreenings, wont all of these prescreenings hurt the opening weekend box office sales if everyone's saw them ahead of time?
