I actually watched all of Season 1 until Jason Priestly came on to supposedly boost ratings. I found his acting so wooden and just plain bad that I stopped watching the show entirely.
But for those who are interested, there's more info (with some slight spoilers) here:

From what I have heard, they are going to show the six episodes they have filmed from Tru Calling's second season to fill up the space from the cancelled Point Pleasant. And yes, Jason Priestly will never be Oscar-worthy, IMHO. All the same, an interesting premise, and I enjoyed the show while it was on.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually thought the Jason Priestly addition was the only thing that started to make the show interesting. Hopefully this season will continue the upward trend of the last few episodes.

Well Tru Calling is still cancelled
they are just running the unaired episodes that were made for the second season
to fill in for the more recently cancelled 'Point Pleansant'
I'm glad they are showing them, I understand that
Jane Espenson was helping to write 'Tru Calling'
in these final episodes...

lol doesn't anyone else find this funny? Fox is so cancel happy that they need to fill in for cancelled shows with other cancelled shows.
If these guys could just stick with a show for a little while they might find out that it actually gains ratings as time goes on. Heck people probably won't watch shows on Fox until they survive a season for fear of investing time in a show that will just be cancelled the next week. They're creating a terrible cycle.

Well, that IS my birthday. Should I be scared? Or should I celebrate ?

Thanks for the heads up. I had just about given up on seeing anything of this show again. I thought it was just getting interesting at the end of Season 1. Fox is truly a double-edged network.

Let's all hope the show gets amazing ratings and a huge fan following forms. It would be great for Fox to find themselves up a creek without a paddle. That's assuming that they show is so completely disbanded that they couldn't get it started again.

I watched last night. I think the show was really starting to come into its own. If only FOX had given it a chance this season it really might have surprised them.
Not that I mind. I wasn Eliza available to come back as Faith. She really did a great job at that role.
