Here's an idea: Petition Fox to move Firefly to Monday 9PM.

"Girls Club" is on the bubble after only ONE episode. The show is a critical and commercial bomb.

Good. Get it out of the way and let's put Firefly in that time slot. Yes, this would mean Firefly would follow Boston Public.

A Monday night prime time pairing of Boston Public at 8PM and Firefly at 9PM (or vice versa) is not as odd as it may sound:

*Both shows are well written dramas with excellent ensemble casts.
*Both shows are loaded with beautiful actors with great chemistry.
*There is just enough humor and wit in each show to keep the night from getting gloomy.

Remember, X-Files found success even though it was aired after a bunch of cartoons and sitcoms!! Monday night can work for Firefly. I think the shows's ratings would improve and the audience would build were the show aired Monday nights.

I rather prefer the time slot it has now. I don't have anything else to watch on Fridays so it's something to look forward to.
