The New England Browncoats are going on a tomb-raiding mini-shindig!

When: Saturday, November 13. Meet at noon.

What: Lunch and then TOMB! What is TOMB? It's a live-action thriller adventure where we are raiding the mummy's tomb. It just opened and we hope it's as fun as it sounds. For more info see the website:
http://www.5-wits.com

Where: TOMB is near the Fenway T stop in Boston (see the website for directions). Cephme has suggested a nearby restaurant called Thornton's Fenway Grill for lunch.

Cost: Lunch is what you pay for it. TOMB costs $16 as long as we get in by 6:00. Entry is timed -- they stagger people in groups about 15-20 minutes apart so that you aren't all in the same spot at the same time.

Note: We can call ahead for reservations if we know for sure who is coming. Or we could meet at TOMB, buy our tickets first for an afternoon time, then go to lunch and come back. Stay tuned for details.

Also we do have a discussion list for New England Browncoats!

I'll be there! i live like a few minutes walk from fenway:) One of my friends might come as well, but i'm not sure yet. we should definitely take a group trip to coldstone either before or after. it's right there, and it's the yummiest ice cream ever, and my friend saili works there:)

Cool! The general plan is to meet at TOMB, but then go for lunch and actually do TOMB later. So maybe it would be time for ice cream afterwards.

Lissa,
Do you agree with Thornton's for lunch or is there a better closer place?

Lissa, if we get a minimum of 12 people then we can reserve in advance and get $2 off the ticket price. Right now we're just about at that point, so if you could confirm whether or not your guest is coming that would be handy.

Well, you don't have to drag someone along just to make 12 people -- we've got 3 weeks left to recruit! On the other hand we do have one other non-Browncoat coming so there will be at least one other person who will have no idea what we're talking about.

We have three weeks yet so I'm not in a rush. I figure I'll see if anyone joins up over the weekend, then send an initial email to TOMB. I don't think I have to pay in advance, just tell them in advance that X number of people is coming. I suppose I should actually contact them about that, though, and not just assume!
