Well, I figured this was the place to ask... would anyone be interested in starting up a yahoogroup/journal based firefly rpg, based on canon characters?

Or, you know, know of one in need of an Inara? (she asked pathetically...)

I just desperately want to sink my teeth into these characters, get under the skin, and I find a good RP is often the best way to do that...

LOL, I would say check out the "Adventures in GunRunning" RP on the Firefly Universe section.

The gaming threads are labeled sorta like this - RP "Adventures in GunRunning" ACT 21

There is a Out Of Character threads as well - they are labeled like this - OOC 21 "Adventures in GunRunning"

Ciara has been curently playing Inara, but her muse has fled - she may be amenable to you taking the character over.

If you want the previous ACTS and OOCs let me know. I think the oldest you can access here on FireFlyFans.net is ACT 4 and OOC 4.

I have them all from the beginning saved as .mht files - they are roughly 1 meg each - so if you are on dial-up, it could be a problem.

Have fun checking it out and please post in the OOC thread if you are interested.

Forgive my ignorance, what's '.mht'? I'm on cable, so large files aren't a problem...

I'd love to see the logs, catch up, see what's been going on, and if Ciara has been having trouble, then I would be more than happy to take on Inara... but I don't wish to tread on anyone's toes!

A .mht is sorta like a snapshot of the entire webpage that is displayed - it will look like your on FFFn, but you won't be.

We actually have not heard from Ciara in awhile, but she still lurks and reads the OOC on occasion. So she'll have a chance to think it over and we can go from there.

My email is CapnRahn@aol.com - drop me a line if you want the OOCs and ACTs. I am on cable modem as well, so uploading all of them at once is no problem.

Dragonfly is another RP in the workings and there is another over on Yahoo called "Oberon" - there is a thread in the Universe section to that effect.
