That's true, Willowy, we Firefly fans know the whole story and if your curiosity has the best of you, I have seen some posts claiming spoilers for the movie around. I don't want to be spoiled, so I can't tell you where. I'm assuming these posts go beyond the seeming TV series recap the movie site has. Additionally, there have been many posts stating that Serenity takes place about 8 months after the message. I'm sure there will have to be explanations for the folks that have never seen Firefly before but I believe that Joss will make it interesting enough for the already fans not to fall asleep. To me it doesn't matter since I'm planning to see the movie several times in the first weekend to help it succeed and so long as our BDHs are up on the silver screen (and go for 2 more sequels) I don't much care what they do.
